Let’s welcome back the award winning art sessions and make them better…. Add in some (non alcoholic) bubbles, keep it small and cosy, a sprinkle of gentle background music, add some new artwork to complete and the same easy ways to paint it, a sprinkle of joy and chatter and voila! We have the makings for a gorgeous Friday morning painting the day away. 

The important information: 

When: Friday 20th Feb! (Half term) 

Subject: Reading Robin

Time: 10:30am-12:30am (perfect to get some lunch in the tearoom after) 

Where: The Wild Fig & Fern Studio, Buttercups Tearoom, LE7 9FE. Walk in front of the barns, follow the signs and come take a seat in my cosy creative space.

Ability: Beginner friendly, no prior experience or knowledge needed, your given an outline to take away the stress and it’s practically colouring in with acrylic, with JJ on hand, it can’t go too wrong.  

What's Included: your outline on canvas, the image size is random to help you build your gallery wall, mainly around A4 but smaller down to A5 on occasion to. All of your paints and supplies are there and waiting for you, a little gentle tuition from award winning artists JJ Barrs and a glass of non alcoholic fizzy wine and a couple of biscuits to help the day go right and maybe your painting hehehe. 

Age Range: all ages are welcome but a 2hr session is more suitable for 16yrs+ under 14's will need to be accompanied by a paying adult, take part part together. 

Come and see what the fuss is about. Learn a new skill and create something you’re proud to display (or gift) work on your own gallery wall with each of these special events being different sizes and images, perfect to brighten up any space and make it your own.
