What Age Is It For?
Short answer: any age!
Quite often the teens and younger children enjoy their time creating the most, as long as a little one isn't putting paint in their mouths they are welcome to make their own unicorn or dinosaur plastic model.
Adults enjoy the tranquillity of the space and im quite often told they don't want to leave! perfectly placed near the tearoom means you could come with friends and make memories as well as talk about them over lunch.
How Does It Work?
Short answer: Pick It, Paint It then Take it.
*its £2.50 for your experience and equipment
*your craft is individually priced and payable at the end of your session.
Imagine paint a pot but without the kiln firing or delicate ceramics... you simply choose your craft off the shelf, sit down and start making, once your finished it goes into a very non technical machine called a hair dryer and then you can take your creation home with you.
Each craft is priced individually and is based on weight and complexity as most items are made by JJ's Dad, Dave and his handy 3D printer and laser cutter.
You can use acrylic paints, paint pens, fabric paints, decoupage, and jewellery making depending on your chosen piece an how you would like it to look when its complete.
Each session is roughly up to 1hour and you are more then welcome to take your item home for finishing or add on time if its possible.
Do I Need To Book?
Short answer: No
Its a First come first served basis. Booking is no longer a requirement and reservations cannot be made.
There are 6 seats maximum inside and 6 outside, the shop space is small so unfortunately we cannot accommodate spectating.
Busy times can be weekends after lunch.
How Many Spaces Are There?
Short Answer: 6 Max inside (all year), + 6 Max outside (weather dependant)
please ensure you take into account a seat for anyone wishing to come as the space is small and spectating is not always possible. if you are supporting a young one with their crafting please consider crafting a small craft to ensure your seat. I would like you all to be comfortable and relaxed during your time.
Do We Offer Parties?
Although traditional parties are not possible, we do offer creative celebration space of up to 6 people per visit.
For adult or older children gatherings, consider a private Sip & Paint with JJ, including tuition, starting from £280.
