Each month, a small piece of post makes its way to you from the Wild Fig & Fern — slow, thoughtful, and made to be opened carefully.

This is a monthly snail mail art subscription, inspired by the changing seasons, quiet moments, and the small stories that unfold in between. Rather than rushing art onto walls, this collection invites you to receive, read, and keep.

Every envelope is sent with intention — coloured paper, real stamps, personal art and creative prompts — creating a moment of pause before you even open it.

Inside, you’ll find a curated bundle of illustrated storytelling and gentle creativity, designed to be collected over time and later gathered into a personal archive, journal, or keepsake book.

Each envelope contains:

  Taken from an original painting by JJ Barrs and professionally reproduced on beautiful archival paper

• One illustrated letter
  A seasonal story from the woodland world — part diary, part folklore — inspired by the artwork and the time of year

Subscription Notes T's & C's

Please note the mail club orders are shipped with a stamp to keep membership cost low. Therefore, there is no tracking information provided.

I as the artist reserve the right to change the date your mail is sent out without notice, this is to ensure you receive the same great quality even when things beyond my control get in the way.

The size of the items is not exact as they are all handmade so most items are 5x7 or slightly smaller and your letter may be 1 or 2 sided of a4 paper or smaller.

Your subscription renews monthly on the same date you purchased. Your snail will be posted around the 1st of the month and you will receive your special letter 3-5days after (2-3 weeks internationally). You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time via your customer portal after your first direct debit has been taken. 

 Cancelling your subscription does not cancel or refund a month that has already been charged or processed. Once a month’s mail has been processed or mailed, it is considered fulfilled and is non-refundable.
